How to care for your Metal Outdoor Furniture
The Metal frame on your outdoor furniture has been zinc coated and then powder coated to maximise its longevity in an outdoor setting.
Avoid scratching the metal surface as this may lead to rust. If damage occurs, you can use touch up paint purchased at your local hardware store to cover these scratches and further prolong the life of your furniture.
How to care for your Timber Outdoor Furniture
Acacia Timber is a hardy type of wood that is often used for outdoor furniture as it has good durability and is relatively easy to maintain.
Pollen and fungal spores will attack the surface leaving dark stains/spots. This can be minimised if the timber is frequently cleaned with wood cleaner.
Acacia Timber is a natural product that continues to move with changes in temperature. Minor cracks and skews can therefore occur. If this happens, you can sand the surface with sandpaper then oil the surface again. It is important that it is done before moisture is allowed to penetrate the wood.
It is recommended that the furniture is retightened every summer season prior to use.
We recommend storing the cushions in a dry, climate-controlled environment when not in use. Or alternatively, an outdoor cover can be used to cover the future when not in use.
