Create a tranquil mood in your bathroom by following these three easy styling tips.
We've picked neutral colours with touches of eucalyptus green – focusing on soft & plush towels, styling a bathroom bench, and adding the finishing touches with wall art. So whether you have a small or spacious bathroom, these styling tips are suitable for any space. Let’s go!
You can start to create a colour palette in the bathroom with your choice of towels. If you prefer a formal or neater look (for example in a guest bathroom), then folding is for you. If you have a relaxed approach to home styling, then you can hang the towels loosely as pictured. Now you can accessorise the rest of your bathroom by pulling colours from your towels for a nice & cohesive look.
A vignette is a small group of objects that creates a focal point. For the bathroom, we recommend keeping it simple: use a tray as your base and put a candle and your soap dispensers on top. Then add a vase next to the tray for height – we’ve used a beautiful eucalyptus stem to match back with our towels and Australiana spring theme.
Art in the bathroom? Go for it! Art is such a nice touch and can be a bit unexpected in the bathroom. Make sure the tones work with your towels and other decor accessories for a cohesive finish. Depending on your bathroom, you could hang the art over the towel rack, on an empty wall or simply lean it against a spare bench space.
