It's the perfect time to reorganise your little ones space and start the season feeling fresh!
As warmer days approach, it’s the perfect time for some spring cleaning. Your little one’s playroom or bedroom is probably starting to look like a hurricane blew through – we know the feeling!
It can be difficult to know where to start, but that’s where we come in. Get the kids involved, choose some of our simple storage solutions and make a dedicated day of it.
Doubling as gorgeous furniture, blanket boxes are so versatile. As the name suggests, they are great for storing bulky items, like blankets or quilts, in a neat and beautiful way. Set the box at the end of your kid’s bed and encourage them to decide what they want to store in there. Whether it’s books or their favourite stuffed animal, a bright blanket box will be the perfect home.
Cleaning up can be as easy as walking around the room and tossing everything into a basket. The best bit?
Our baskets are super cute! Whether your little one is into native animals, all things sports, or magical unicorns we have the perfect basket for their room. Have a couple of baskets on hand to store bigger toys and make organisation a breeze. You can even make packing up into a game – see who can collect the most toys in their basket!
At least a couple of times a year we find ourselves needing to swap our bedding or clothing from winter to summer, and vice versa. Make the change easy by using storage bags in different sizes. You can stack them in the wardrobe or slide them under the bed for easy storage. The bags can be zipped closed and labelled, so you’ll always know where your littles one’s winter jackets or beach towels are!
You know that feeling when you pull out your winter quilt after months of having it tucked away and it smells distinctly musty?
Nip that in the bud with a few sprays of Aroma Wash Linen Spray before you zip up the storage bag or close the box. You’ll be rewarded with a sweet and welcoming smell once the time comes to unpack.
Think outside the box (pun intended) when it comes to storage ideas. Incorporate pieces of furniture or decor that are as practical as they are playful. We love using heirloom style storage trunks that add vintage flair to your little one’s space.
Opt for a tiered bookshelf with fabric pockets that will add colour to their bedroom or play space – and who says you have to fill it with books? Dolls will slot easily into the folds, or you can fill the tiers with art supplies and set up a creativity station.
Once you’ve put all the effort into getting your kids’ room nice and clean, the perfect finishing touch is a spritz of a lovely room spray. Fill the air with the fresh scents of mandarin, lavender and Roman chamomile woven throughout our Aroma Wash Kids Range Pure Room Spray.
